Conference Board Employment trends index falls to 109.51 vs 111.22 last month


Conference Board employment trends index for June 2019

The Conference Board is out with its employment trends index for the month of June. The index has fallen to 109.51 from 111.22 in May. 

The full was largely attributed to an increase in the percentage of respondents who say that they find “Jobs hard to get”, which can be viewed as a positive for the jobs market.  As a result, the conference Board is suggesting that interpretation of the ETI be made with caution
